Have begun the third week at my new school. What a difference a year makes. I work as hard as I did at the old school and am tired when I leave work, but I'm not exhausted. What are the some of the differences that make this so:
1. A thirty minute later start to the work day.
2. A 52 mile rather than a 70 mile two-way commute.
3. Roomy and clean staff restrooms.
4. Easy access to office, work room and staff room.
5. Forty five consecutive minutes of plan time while students are at specials.
6. No recess duty.
7. Caring and competent building administrators.
More to come.
