January 18, 2012 OK. It's time to get serious about this after thinking about it for months. I'm thinking about creating a charter school in St. Helens to open in 2013. I've done some research about the process to follow and I need to recruit others to make it happen.This is me idea in a nutshell:
SLAM (Science, Literacy, Math, Art) Academy, a transitional charter school for 3rd, 4th, 5th graders who
are not being successful in the regular school setting. The purpose of the academy would be to build up the
capacity of these students to be successful in the regular school setting.
